I've been wanting to complete a few posts I've left halfway but my idle mind is just not letting me kick-start this blog of mine. While I wait for the cobwebs to clear off and let my creative juices flow, I'd like to post an interesting video I came across on you tube. It's a satirical video ridiculing American Security and foreign policy -esp. the wars they started. I presume, the makers of the video are a bunch of Indian software professionals in the US who have plenty of time to spare and are using it, besides fulfilling their creative desires, to assuage the anguish in their lives. I say this because of copious videos posted on you tube by Indians in the US that I've come across. Clearly, the dancer (Malavika Tara Mohanan) can do with a few dance lessons or else she could join the circus and put her contortionistic skills to use there. The editing was witty in bits but some of the clips depicting the horrors of wars and their affects on little children were totally out of place. The lyrics were simple and straightforward, but what's with the South-Indian accent? The whole purpose of the video is defeated with it trying to be amusing and serious at the same time.
For those who are wondering why I posted this video if I did not like it , I am trying to use the video to serve as a prelude to my next post discussing war and hunger for power.
